In a large pot, mix the tomato sauce, rum, water, sugar, chilli, allspice, and salt. Bring to a boil, add the ribs, then cover and let simmer over low heat for 45 minutes. Preheat oven to broil. Remove the ribs and set aside the sauce. Grill the ribs in the oven 3-4 minutes per side, braising them often in the sauce. Remove from heat and sprinkle with coriander or parsley to serve.
